Blogged with Flock
When I moved from Safari and IE to Firefox, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. All those cool add-ons. (I tried Camino, but getting free add-ons was another matter.) Although this browser, Flock, is based on the opensource concept of Firefox (and I think the same design team might even be involved), it's a hundred times cooler than Firefox. That Hyperwords add-on is amazing and quite life-changing. Any word on the page can become a hyperlink or be defined or be translated. Not to mention all the things a professional blogger can do with Flock. And the SEO RankQuest bar like in FF is there, too. Most, if not all, Firefox extensions can be converted over to the Flock browser with a flock'd add-on, the design team is claiming. And happily, that nerdy ASNumber add-on in Firefox flock'd beautifully. |

I guess I should RTFM, if I could find a decent one. There never seems to be a comprehensive, understandable one when it comes to computers.
What should be the introductory primer wasn't all that much help in explaining the underlying details, but it did give a list of cool, popular users.
I still don't understand this foaf thing very well. A bunch of smelly little ontologies vying to represent the relationships within our knowledge base for machine use, it would appear. But I did get some more people in my livejournal foaf. These files display differently depending on your browser, it seems.
